Webonize is a reseller for a local hosting company who operates their own fully redundant dedicated primary & back-up servers. This means that should any problems arise with your account, service is provided by local professionals, giving you the security to know that we have full control of your website functionality.
The primary servers are located in a secure data centre in Sydney & a back-up server gives geographic redundancy by being located in a data centre in Los Angeles, USA. Having two servers in different continents allows us to minimise downtime in the event of any server or network issue.
We use web hosting software called cPanel, which allows you to easily maintain your own email accounts, setup email redirection, etc.
The current uptime exceeds 99.95%.
As part of your hosting account with us, you will receive:
Storage Space: Disk storage space of 5Gb
SSL Certificate: You will have SSL Certification enabled on your website at no extra cost
Caching: Built in webserver caching which provides an increase of your website performance
Up to 10 email accounts: Give your business the professional appearance with email accounts using your domain (firstname.lastname@example.org). Create the accounts yourself by logging into your C-Panel or we can create them for you. Your emails can be delivered to your preferred email program on your desktop computer and/or mobile device via POP3 or IMAP or forward them on to your web based email account (gmail, yahoo, live, etc.). We can provide instructions on setting up your email program if required.
Scheduled full database and file backups: Backups are completed daily, weekly and monthly, as well as replicating all data every 8 hours to our backup server. Daily backups are retained for 7 days, weekly backups for 4 weeks, and monthly backups for 3 months.
Database optimisation: Most websites runs on the MySQL database system, and our MySQL database server is fully optimised for CMS & E-commerce websites. It is also monitored by our csxwatch system for performance issues.
Uptime monitoring (if your site goes down, we’ll be instantly notified): Our hosting account providers use HostTracker to provide real time monitoring of the servers. They are notified instantly of any interruption to service, and can switch to a backup server within a matter of hours if required to limit the downtime in the case of any issues.

Maintenance for your website: An optional extra you can add to your website hosting package is maintenance for your website. If you don’t have the time or knowledge we can maintain your website on a regular basis for you including security updates and general amendments. Please contact us for package details.
