Back in July, Facebook announced that they were going to allow users to embed Facebook posts onto another website or web page. I have just noticed today that it has become available for me and I believe that it is now available for everyone.
You can embed any Facebook post as long as the post has been made public and it can be done from either a Facebook profile or page.
The embedded post will show any media attached to it, as well as the number of likes, shares, and comments that the post has. Embedding posts will let people using your website see the exact same information that is shown on Facebook, and people are able to follow or like the content authors or Pages directly from the embed. If someone clicks on comment or share to interact with the post, they are diverted to Facebook so that they can leave a comment or share the post.
Here is an embedded post direct from our Facebook page so you can see what it looks like:

At this stage, you cannot customise how Embedded Posts are displayed on your page. The size of the post is fixed to the same dimensions as it’s shown on Facebook.
This is a great way to get more exposure for your Facebook page as a business. You could also use it promote another business or highlight information that someone else has shared on Facebook that you feel would be useful for your audience. What do you think? Will you use this feature? Leave me a comment and let me know below and please share this post to let others know about this feature.

I would love to hear your thoughts...
