If you had facebook page tabs or apps installed on your page in 2011 or earlier there is a good chance that they were created using the old facebook coding language Static FBML.
In March 2012 Facebook announced that they would be removing any FBML tabs from facebook giving all page owners 3 months warning. The three months has come around very quickly and from 6th June 2012 any FBML tabs will cease to work on your page.
How Do I Know If I have FBML app on my Page?
If you go to manage>edit page on your facebook page and then click on apps on the left hand side. You will see your apps that have been uploaded. If you see the FBML symbol next to an active app then that means it has been built using FBML.
What Do I Need to Do If I have a FBML app on my Page?
Don’t panic! Your app will just need to be converted to an iframe. The easiest way to do this is to use a 3rd party app that hosts the image for you.
