I am going to let you in on a couple of secrets that most SEO agencies won’t tell you.
1. SEO isn’t that difficult to learn and implement yourself
You don’t have to pay thousand’s of dollars to have someone else manage it for you because it is far better for you to learn it and implement yourself. The only time it is viable for to engage someone else to do the work for you, is if you either don’t want to or don’t have the time to do it yourself.
SEO is an ongoing process and is tightly linked to other online marketing strategies so it makes sense for you to be managing it along with your other marketing including social media, content marketing and video marketing. SEO comes into play with all these activities if you want long-term sustainable rankings in search engines.
If you do decide to engage someone else to do the SEO for you, I still highly recommend that you have some knowledge about ethical SEO practices so that you can monitor what they are doing for you. The last thing you want is to be paying someone good money for work that is going to harm your business. You need to know how to check and what to check on a regular basis.
Either way, take the time to learn SEO for yourself. Knowledge is power!!
2. Search Engine Rankings aren’t the most important factor
Many SEO companies will make claims or guarantee that they will get you number 1 rankings for a certain number of keywords in a short buy klonopin without period of time. If you see this sort of claim – RUN!! Why?? Because they are going to do everything possible to get you those rankings, so they are either using unethical (or Blackhat) strategies to get you these rankings which will come back later to haunt you OR they will get you rankings for keywords that aren’t going to benefit your business. Anyone with some SEO knowledge can publish a page on a website and rank for a keyword sometimes within minutes if that keyword isn’t competitive. But the problems is, if your ideal customers aren’t using that keyword in their searches then they still aren’t going to find you. So that number 1 ranking is useless.
When running your SEO campaigns, the top priority should be getting more traffic to your website. This is what good SEO should be doing for you. And then, once you have the traffic to your website you need to ensure that you are getting them to do what you want them to do while they are on your website. So they need to be finding what they were initially looking for when they first made that search engine enquiry. Whether that be information, a product to buy or a certain service.
Sure, keep an eye on your rankings, but also ensure you are monitoring the traffic to your website.

SEO is such a frustrating and confusing topic for so many of us! There’s so much I’ve outsourced because I wanted to stay focused on doing what I do best but SEO is a topic I love learning more about. Thanks for sharing your tips!
I keep avoiding SEO because it seems so complicated. Glad to hear it’s manageable!
