Many Mums make the decision to have their own business, so that they are in control of their lifestyle and have the flexibility to work around their family commitments. But being a Mum in business can feel lonely and isolating at times, especially if you work from home or in a small office environment. The AusMumpreneur Network is an online community with over 600 members providing a network and support group for Mums in business.
I was one of the founding members of the AusMumpreneur Network and since October 2011, I have worked closely with Peace Mitchell and Katy Garner as the AusMumpreneur Network Community Manager, to provide much needed support and advice to Mums in Business.
In March 2013, the AusMumpreneur Network is bringing the National ANZ Small Business Hub AusMumpreneur Conference Roadshow to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide and I am honoured to be one of the speakers at all three events.
