Lets talk launches!!
If you are a coach, consultant or online expert there is a very good chance that you have launched a new service, program or online course.
Over the past 8 years I have worked on 1,000’s of launches with clients and also within my own business and I have seen a lot of successes but I have also seen a lot of learning experiences (none are ever a failure, just loaded with lessons for next time!)
At the moment, I have 10 clients in launch mode and the degree of success with all of them are varied, so I wanted to share with you my top tips to making your next launch a success and to give yourself the best chance of reaching your goals.
1. Planning
Planning is so important. Having a successful launch strategy doesn’t start one month before open cart. The most successful launches have a pre-launch strategy which can include things like growing your email database, building a connection with your audience on social media, messenger marketing, content marketing, etc.
The more strategic you are in this stage before your actual launch, the better success you will have.
2. Preparation
Be prepared. Pre-prepare all of your emails and all of your social media posts and have them scheduled in. It is easy to say, “I won’t worry about doing that one today” – but every single email and post is important in your overall strategy. While everything is prepared you also need to be flexible and change things up if you need to.
Have your landing pages, sales pages and all the tech side of things ready to go. There can be any number of glitches during a launch so if you are prepared as possible in other areas than you have time to deal with any last minute issues.
3. Communication
Make sure everyone on your team who is involved in any part of the launch has all the details, including dates for each stage of the launch.
4. Alternative Options
Have different options for your marketing. I am referring more to your Facebook Ads here. Don’t be set on just one colour, one image or one video for your ads. You never know what may resonate with your target audience and in actual fact I always find that different options work for different audiences within the one campaign. So be flexible here so you can get the best return possible on your ad spend.
5. Systems and Processes
Have systems and processes in place to track all of your results and analyse the data once your launch is finished. If you are unsure how to read the data than get an expert to analyse it for you.
You want to be looking at things such as email open rates, conversion rates on your landing pages, cost per click and cost per conversion from your advertising. Look at where there was holes, where results could have been improved and make notes while it is still fresh in your mind so that you can refer to it and implement those changes the next time your launch so that you can continue to grow and improve your results each time.
Would you like someone on your team to analyse the data, get the systems all in place and have a killer strategy to make your next launch a success?
This is my zone of genius as I not only know what is working now, I can also analyse past launch history to see how you can improve the next time around. I am able to assist with the creative, messaging, strategy and implementation. I would love to hear from you to see if we can work together.

I would love to hear your thoughts...
