Do you sometimes wonder what you are going to post next on Twitter or Facebook? Or you don’t have the time to do much research? Or perhaps you read an article and would like to share it on your social media channels but you have just made a couple of other posts and don’t want to bombard your followers with too much content in a short space of time!
I have the answer. Buffer..
Buffer has been my saviour for about 6 weeks now and I love it. There is a free version and a paid version depending on the number of social media accounts you want to connect to. Buffer supports Twitter, Facebook & LinkedIn. You just sign up, select your social media accounts and nominate the times that you want your material posted to the nominated social media account. There is also browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox and Safari so you can easily add posts to your Buffer account from any web page you are reading.
If you are reading information or an article on a webpage that you would like to share with your followers simply click on the buffer icon in your browser, select one or more social media channels you want to send your post to and then add to buffer, or you can post straight away. You can also upload an image to add to your buffer post as well.
But as with any scheduling or posting tool for social media, don’t forget you need to be active online as well. Check in regularly and reply or acknowledge any comments and thank others for re-sharing your content.
So go ahead and give Buffer a go and if you enjoy it, why not add this article to your Buffer queue or share from the social icons below.
